Second Nature
Second Nature is an 18-style hand-drawn type family built around two complementary structures: a five-weight brush script and a marker-drawn display companion, rounded out by a bolder all-caps style for moments that need more weight. Each script weight and the three display weights ship with a matching italic, giving the family real range across both size and register — from quiet supporting text to full-volume headline work — without ever breaking character. The letterforms carry the irregularity of actual brush and marker strokes rather than a uniform, vectorized gesture, and alternate glyphs are built in throughout so repeated letters within a word don't repeat themselves visually. The result is type that reads as handmade at any scale, suited to identity work, packaging, and editorial settings where a single, considered voice needs to hold across a full system rather than one hero application.
